TXM employees step up for healthy living

At Texas Mutual, we know that employee health goes hand in hand with workplace safety and productivity. That’s why we’re proud to support our longstanding partner, the American Heart Association (AHA), to further their mission of helping people live healthier lives. Through our annual companywide Heart Walk campaign this year, we raised more than $4,108 to support the AHA’s life-saving work.

Our employees found creative ways to show their support, including our Heart-to-Heart Squares game show, new Heart Walk t-shirts and online team donations. We also enjoyed celebrating this great cause with our communities at this year’s Heart Walks in Lubbock, Dallas, Houston and Austin. Along with their friends and families, our employees stepped together with their neighbors in the spirit of healthy living.

At the Austin Heart Walk, we also enjoyed the opportunity to step with employees from our health affiliate, Texicare. Meredith Duncan, president & CEO of Texicare, helped kick off the walk by speaking about the importance of heart health and CPR training.

Our partnership with the AHA is more than just an annual campaign. It’s a year-round commitment to building safer, healthier communities. Together with the AHA and Texicare, we’re proud to continue supporting a stronger, safer Texas.
